Package: wicd
Version: 1.5.9-5
Severity: normal

        Hi!

wicd somehow detects that a cable is removed. At least when I open
wicd-client again I see only a connect, not a disconnect button for the
wired interface.

Though, it does *not* kill the dhclient it started for setting up the
wired connection, and it does *not* remove the acquired IP address nor
the routing entry for the default route, producing troubles when firing
up other interfaces that because of that can't set their default route.

 Thanks. :)
Rhonda
