Package: cups-driver-gutenprint Version: 5.0.2-4 Severity: wishlist I would like to make a request for Canon Pixma IP1800 to be added to Gutenprint. There are precompiled binaries for Fedora and Suse; some users have tried tweaking for Ubuntu, but all in all making this printer work is either hard and tiresome, or, in some cases such as with Lenny - impossible. There exists, however, a source file, which can be downloaded at Canon Australia Support - http://support-au.canon.com.au/EN/search?v%3aproject=ABS-EN&binning-state=model%3d%3dPIXMA%20iP1800%0amenu%3d%3dDownload%0aos%3d%3dLinux& I hope the model can be added to the project wishlist.
