Hello,

I see this problem also, but I think that closing the bug is the wrong
way to go.

The - imho - most common use case of gpg where this problem occurs, is
when I import some random key, and gpg then starts recomputing its
trustdb. I want to have access to the Debian keyring to compute a
better web of trust, but don't want to import - and then have to
maintain (eg. delete, at some point) all DD's keys that I already have
in the debian-keyring package.

It should be possible to specify where gpg wants to place its temporary
files for such computations, and/or remove the need to write to all
keyring files.

FWIW, I'm using gnupg 1.4.9-3 on Lenny.

Also possibly relevant: 48077 and 38857

What has become of the idea to drop support for several keyrings, as
mentioned in 38857 (not that I'd support that)?

Kind regards,
--Toni++
