Package: k3b Version: 0.12.1-2 Severity: normal After upgrading to k3b 0.12.1: When I run k3b, it prompts a warning message about cdrecord. It says that cdrecord won't run with setuid, but on kernels >= 2.6.8 you have to run it with root privileges. IIRC this is an issue that doesn't regard Debian kernels. In fact, cdrecord and k3b too still burn cd-roms correctly. Don't know why k3b bothers the user with this warning.
