Hi,

Hoping to finally solve this bug...

Ohphone seems to be stopped upstream. Does someone know if ohphone is still
developed?

How can this bug be checked with ptlib 2.6.1 from experimental (to see if it
is still valid)?

Has someone informed the upstream about this bug? If not and still
valid, I will do it!

My Mac Mini is running lenny, so I could test this now, but I have not
used ohphone in years.

I'm doing this on the mac, which has IP 192.168.1.2.

ohphone -l -n --ringfile ringtone.wav

and this on an AMD Athlon:

ohphone -n sanv...@192.168.1.2

(both are plugged to the same ADSL router). On the Mac I see this message:

Incoming call from "sanvila [::ffff:192.168.1.5]" at Sun, 26 Apr 2009
13:54:49 +0200, answer call (Y/n)?

but no sound at all, not even noise as it used to be.

Should this improve by using some package from experimental?

I see that this bug is attached to pwlib (currently ptlib) package (and ohphone depends on pwlib).

ptlib fixes many bugs with each release (I hope it is better and better :o)). This bug should be fixed by upstream, so I want to inform them about it.

However, I cannot say to upstream that there was a bug with a version of several years ago. I need to know if it applies to recent (last) release of ptlib, which is 2.6.1, currently in debian experimental.

The problem is that ohphone is not developed anymore (it seems to me), so how can I see that the bug still exists with recent versions?
