Package: nis
Version: 3.17-18
Severity: normal

Hi,

the nis initscript does not display any progress during stopping (or the
stop part of restart) which is a little bit confusing, causing questions
like: Does stopping not work? Did it fail? Was NIS not running? Hugh?
Adding some output there would be nice.
