Package: bash
Version: 3.2-4
Severity: wishlist

Thanks for maintaining debian's bash package.

It's my preferred language for day to day work.

The main reason I'm writing is that it occurred to
me that bash's command line could be made

    a.) prettier and

    b.) more useful

with syntax highlighting.

A screen shot of vim's implementation is attached.

Thanks,
Kingsley
