Package: imp4
Version: 4.0.2-2
Severity: normal

I am trying to use both request-tracker3.4 and IMP4 from Debian.
However, IMP cannot read messages generated from Request Tracker because
RT sends mail with the header Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8-bit. When
viewing a message from RT, IMP says that there is part, type
application/octet-stream. The body of the message simply says, "There
are not parts that can be displayed inline". I have confirmed that this
header is involved with the problem by sending a message manually via
netcat, screenshot below:

  220 mail.mycompany.local ESMTP Postfix (Debian/GNU)
  helo foo
  250 mail.mycompany.local
  mail from: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
  250 Ok
  rcpt to: jason
  250 Ok
  data
  354 End data with <CR><LF>.<CR><LF>
  Subject: done with netcat
  Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8-bit
  Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

  Hi. Can you see me?
  .
  250 Ok: queued as 4FF9046C5CD

Using evolution, the message displays as it should.
