Package: quodlibet Version: 0.11-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I have quite a view files with wierd names around, due to some problems with charset conversions in the past. Quodlibet has been able to deal quite well with them so far, but it has a problem with one of them right now. If I try to edit the tags of this file, quodlibet hangs in the progress dialog with 0/1 files saved. I get the following debugging output: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/quodlibet/quodlibet.zip/widgets.py", line 3225, in save_files UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode bytes in position 86-88: invalid data The filename in question is (as shown with ls): Cyprien Katsaris (Piano), Thomas Zehetmair (Violine), Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, J?nos Rolla - Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy - Concertos for Piano and Violin - 03 - Konzert f?r Klavier und Streichorchester a-moll - (3) Finale: Allegro ma non troppo.ogg Please let me know if you need further information. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (600, 'unstable'), (570, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.10 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages quodlibet depends on: ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.8-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii python 2.3.5-3 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-gtk2 2.6.2-1 Python bindings for the GTK+ widge ii python-id3lib 0.5.1-5 id3lib wrapper for Python - dummy ii python-pymad 0.5.4-1 Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio D ii python-pyvorbis 1.3-1 A Python interface to the Ogg Vorb ii python2.3-pymad [python-pymad 0.5.4-1 Python wrapper to the MPEG Audio D ii quodlibet-ext 0.11-1 extensions for the Quod Libet audi Versions of packages quodlibet recommends: ii python-pyao 0.82-1 A Python interface to the Audio Ou pn ttf-freefont <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- Philipp Weis [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://pweis.com/
