How can I manage that my disk go to standy mode without udev waking them ?
Stop opening for writing their block devices (which generates a "change"
uevent).
This may be an hdparm bug.
There something I don't understand, what's the problem with hdparm ?
BTW if I do :
/etc/init.d/udev stop
spin-down disk with hdparm
/etc/init.d/udev start
hdparm stop the disk, but as soon as I restart udev the disk spin up.
Why ?
