The command_line in the nt.cfg that ships with the package reads: command_line /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_nt -H '$HOSTADDRESS$' -v '$ARG1$' It should read: command_line /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_nt -H '$HOSTADDRESS$' -p 12489 -v $ARG1$ $ARG2$ The port (-p) needs to be explicitely stated or the commands will fail. The second argument need to be listed ($ARG2$) or checks with two sets of arguments will fail (like MEMUSE). The arguments can't be enclosed in ' or some checks with longs argument lists will fail (for example, USEDDISKSPACE).
