I doubt it. That bug says that there is no /etc/pam.d/slim file. While that file would indeed be a good addition to the package, it does still include /etc/pam.d/common-session, and in that regard is no different from the 'other' file; the pam_krb5.so module is loaded in common-session, so it is loaded by slim, whether through /etc/pam.d/other or .../slim.
