Please make an effort not to fly off the handle like this, Frans. The bug title clearly named powerpc-utils (and even the root cause) as the culprit. Well, if it makes the default installation fail it sure may be seen as critical. (not for d-i, I agree - but there's always been some confusion as to whether to report bugs during installation time against d-i, or the package).
