I'm aware of the new 1.1.7 version, but I've been working on libtorrent-rasterbar 0.14.3 (which really fixes the bug you mentioned, avoiding the deluge workaround) and I'm actually helping upstream to fix a number of bugs in Launchpad before releasing 1.1.8.
