Yes. I screwed up the import of 1.7dfsg~beta1. I depend on the
filter feature of git-import-orig to filter out doc/krb5-protocol.
Unfortunately, I was on the wrong branch when I did the import and so
.gbp.conf was not present.
Will be fixed with an upload of 1.7dfsg~beta2, hopefully today.
