/var/lib/vz/101 or /var/lib/vz/private or /var/lib/vz/private/101?

Ok. I see. However I know that you can not make a ve if you have already
mounted the directory. It fails for some reason. Have you moved it after it
was created?

Can you please give me the output of
ls -l /var/lib/vz
ls -l /var/lib/private
