Atheros card in Compaq laptop was working just fine with Debian Lenny
2.6.26-1-686 using madwifi / wicd.
I upgraded to 2.6.26-2-686 when prompted by the Gnome update manager.
After the upgrade I lost wireless connectivity.
Reboot to 2.6.26-1 kernel in the grub list and wireless works fine
(typing this now).
Tried very many ways (including m-a atl2) to get the Atheros card
working in 2.6.26-2 but no dice.
If there is a way other than madwifi to use the Atheros card let me know
and I'll try it, otherwise this seems to be the only way to use the card
in Debian.
