I have no idea what that is, it's not a dependency of the i386 coreutils package I built:

 Package: coreutils
 Version: 7.3-1
 Architecture: i386
 Pre-Depends: libacl1 (>= 2.2.11-1), libattr1 (>= 2.4.41-1), libc6 (>= 2.6), 
libselinux1 (>= 2.0.59)

Perhaps there is something strange about your chroot config?
