originally, imvirt was coded for apt-dater and the source code is still
hosted on apt-dater's SVN repository. In the meantime there is a little
homepage at http://micky.ibh.net/~liske/imvirt.html - but you won't find
any packaged .deb there.
FWIW, the reason I noticed this problem was that I needed to use a tool
like imvirt on a lenny box, and lenny didn't have the imvirt package.
So I wanted to install it separately. I ended up using the deb source
instead, though...
You can also use imvirt from www.backports.org and the arch:all dep of
imvirt should work out of the box with lenny :)
It's a self-contained perl script, you only need perl (dmidecode could
help detection, but only if run as root) - the Squeeze/Sid package should
work on any Debian version out of the box.
