I'm afraid this is not going to be fixed anytime soon. Currently, the "seen" detection is protocol specific, and for some protocols, detecting the "seen" state requires additional round trips so will remain unavailable.
Beyond that, for later fetchmail releases, we may go for a client-side message tracking approach; in such a case, it may get fixed, but it's too early to make any sustainable statement yet, because the design of the new code is not yet clear. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
