Package: rarian-compat Version: 0.8.1-2 Severity: important After a bit of a rebuild due to some disk corruption, I get lots of errors when installing GNOME-related packages.
For example: Setting up eog (2.26.2-1) ... scrollkeeper-update: error while loading shared libraries: libscrollkeeper.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory dpkg: error processing eog (--configure): subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 127 It looks like Scrollkeeper is being replaced by librarian, with this rarian-compat package to provide scrollkeeper compatibility. Unfortunately, whilst rarian-compat includes /usr/bin/scrollkeeper-update, it doesn't work as /usr/lib/libscrollkeeper.so.0 is not available - is this provided by another package which ought to be listed in the dependencies or should it be built as part of rarian-compat? -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.29-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages rarian-compat depends on: ii docbook-xml 4.5-6 standard XML documentation system, ii libc6 2.9-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.4.0-5 GCC support library ii librarian0 0.8.1-2 Rarian is a documentation meta-dat ii libstdc++6 4.4.0-5 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii xml-core 0.12 XML infrastructure and XML catalog rarian-compat recommends no packages. rarian-compat suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
