sadly xdg-email --attach does not work with thunderbird. "Current versions (1.5) of Thunderbird are not able to automatically add attachments to e-mail messages." http://portland.freedesktop.org/wiki/EmailConfig There is a patch available in upstream bugzilla but looks like upstream is dead: http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13435 Could you add this patch to the Debian package so attaching files from applications to thunderbird will work?
