(I am quite puzzled at this moment) if you have, lets say, two copies of applesmc.ko in the kernel tree, which version will 'modprobe' load ? is there a way to tell? moreover, AFAICS, dkms (the upstream version) goes to great length to mv away the old module when it installs a new module. There is a lot of code to do that. a. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
