I suggest you read Debian Policy 10.4 instead, which clearly states
the requirements for a /bin/sh on Debian, and will find that indeed
mksh (at least the one in sid), posh and maybe a couple others ful-
fil these requirements.
And I have been running systems with mksh as /bin/sh for a while
now.
