The fact that ther is no jocaml-findlib (FTM) has nothing to do with jocaml not having a binary package jocaml-interp. And ocaml-interp was made only to allow one to have ocamltop without installing the hole ocaml development stuff. Adding jocaml-interp won't fix magically the issue with findlib. The same work will be done anyway.
