Hi Samuel, all the discussion was done on the forwarded bug on mutt.org, I did not know that you wanted to be added there as well; are you having problem using the $charset variable? If you do we can ping upstream and ask him to clarify better but he seemed pretty clear on his intention not to fix the bug on mutt. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you on the Debian side in relation to this bug, I'd be more than happy to resolve it with your satisfaction.
