Package: cups Version: 1.3.8-1lenny4.1 Printing fails without error message, the printer (Samsung ML-1610 over USB) just outputs a white page when printing the test page, no error message is reported.
Further remarks: * Tested with the version in stable and the one in testing (1.3.10-2), no change. * Tested with both splix 1 and splix 2, no change. * Tested on an old i386 laptop, works there with splix 1 and splix 2, i haven't tested cups/testing on that machine. * It used to work on this PPC machine (Mac Mini) some time ago (~1 year, I barely use the printer). * PPC is big endian, as opposed to i386 which is little endian, it could be the significant difference.
