Package: irssi Version: 0.8.13-2 Severity: normal Since I upgraded to 0.8.13, I got this problem with bitlbee: When I query someone on bitlbee (ie. MSN or Jabber contact), my messages never get through. Yet, if I chat to the person on &bitlbee channel, the messages get through.
By doing /rawlog save command, I found that messages sent via the &bitlbee channel show as follows in the rawlog: << PRIVMSG &bitlbee :<buddy>: <message> While messages /query or /msg do not show up at all in the rawlog ! After downgrading to irssi 0.8.12-6, I found that this is how a /query or /msg shows up in rawlog: << PRIVMSG <buddy> :<message> -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers jaunty-updates APT policy: (500, 'jaunty-updates'), (500, 'jaunty-security'), (500, 'jaunty-proposed'), (500, 'jaunty-backports'), (500, 'jaunty') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.28-13-generic (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
