Back in January I wrote with Tomas the developer for tuxcmd. Back to that, we talked about the licensing of tuxcmd-modules. He explained to me, that he in Fedora also repackaged tuxcmd-modules to not ship the unfree unrar. Also there were thougs to use the free unrarlib, but however it strips some functionality. Tomas told me too, that he will package the unrar module seperately next time, he release tuxcmd-modules with updated version. I would go waiting for this new release before building a third package containing the unrar module. I hope there will be a new tuxcmd and tuxcmd-modules soon in the next weeks.
