Your package work on my Sid box. Good job for your python-daemon packaging ! Just a little stuff in my opinion i'm not sure there are an interest to embed with the package egg-info files as those are only used by the python package manager easy install. In my packaging i've removed those files, but i know that some maintainers include it ...
