Package: notification-daemon Version: 0.4.0-1 Severity: important I am not sure exactly where the problem lies, but after some time notification-daemon appears to stop responding to requests by applications. For example, when using the preview button in notification-properties, it freezes for a few seconds and finally displays the following error:
"Error while displaying notification: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken."
