Package: python-support
Version: 1.0.3
Severity: wishlist
Python2.6 is in experimental, but python-support seems unable to support
modules under the newer version:
$ python2.6 /usr/bin/nosetests
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/nosetests", line 5, in <module>
from pkg_resources import load_entry_point
ImportError: No module named pkg_resources
apt-file says:
$ apt-file list python-support | grep -e /usr/lib/python.*/site-packages/
python-support: /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/python-support.pth
python-support: /usr/lib/python2.5/site-packages/python-support.pth
Is there a way to already support Python2.6 though it's not in unstable yet?
