The last few lines are:

plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/gaim-remote.so
cui: Session: 0
plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/idle.so
plugins: Loading saved plugin /usr/lib/gaim/encrypt.so
Gaim has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.

So, it looks like the gaim encryption plugin is what's causing the 
segfault; I'm using the debian packaged version:

ii  gaim-encryptio 2.37-1         gaim plugin that provides transparent

My guess is that the package needs to be rebuilt to match the new 
version of gaim.
