I missed "TrueType file" and "shell script". I suspect (since there are some filetypes on the path which are *not* listed here, and are not playable) there is a list of extensions somewhere which are of interest/relevance to gstreamer in general. Those which are of interest to rhythmbox are probably a subset of any that are of interest to gstreamer in general. -- Jon Dowland
