Package: binutils Version: 2.19.1-1 Severity: wishlist Hi,
I would appreciate it if the --build-id option for the linker was enabled by default (with the sha1 hash if possible). I'm working on the debug packages infrastructure and would like to take advantage of the .build-id section to ship debugging symbols from a webdav mount that people can use to automatically have symbols for all their packages.
