Hi, I like the old behavior much more, so here is my workflow. I mark important messages with F and messages I still have to handle/read with N (I have mark_old=no). But when I use y I only want to see the N for mailboxes with really new mail, not mail I marked as new (I know the mailboxes where I have done this). I could mark the messages I still have to handle as old but I don't want to differentiate between new mail and mail marked as new by me because I have to handle both. I think the best way would be a new option which sets the new/old behavior (I think defaulting to old would be best). If the list in y would set N (really new mail) and O (mail marked as new in mailbox) that would also be very nice.
