Package: courier-maildrop
Version: 0.61.2-1
Severity: important

The tolower() and toupper() function calls in the mailfilter always return
empty results.
Recompiling recipenode.C with -O1 option for gcc instead of -O2 returns these
function to normal behavior. The problem occurs at line 924 and further of
recipenode.C.

Using gcc-4.3 for this compilation.

This functionality is important as these calls are necessary to be able to
properly use gdbm functionality.
