I'd have to dig through all the old build logs, but I don't think so. I'm not sure if Debian's buildds set DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=parallel=$nrproc but that's something that was done in Ubuntu. I've been unable to reproduce it locally, and it happened across several machines during Ubuntu builds (I had to retry it a few times -- with no changes -- before it got it right).
