To be honnest, I've never been OK with the actual implementation of
blocking and non-blocking errors. We need somthing stronger and better
for maintenance.
The idea of a FIFO may be a good path to go through, although this is a
complex question that needs a real reflexion.
I've filled a bug report upstream and will ask for comments in the
developers mailing list.
