Package: dicod
Version: 2.0-2
Severity: important
Hi!
This is from the installation of dicod - sorry that it's in german but
I guess you get the idea:
#v+
Richte dicod ein (2.0-2) ...
Starting dictionary server : dicoddicod: Error: Cannot open `/etc/dicod.conf':
Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
failed!
invoke-rc.d: initscript dicod, action "start" failed.
dpkg: Fehler beim Bearbeiten von dicod (--configure):
Unterprozess installiertes post-installation-Skript gab den Fehlerwert 1 zurück
#v-
This means that it influences even installation of other packages that
depend on dicod because it sets the package in an instable state.
Furthermore I like to question the reason of why dicod needs to ship an
init.d script for dictd and dictconfig too, resuling in not being able
to install dicod and dictd side-by-side - what's the rationale for that?
Thanks,
Rhonda
