Package: webmin Version: 1.430 Severity: important When I connect to localhost:10000 I get: "Error - Bad Request
This web server is running in SSL mode. Try the URL https://localhost:10000/ instead." Which is fine. But then I connect to https://localhost:10000/ I get: localhost:10000 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for <a id="cert_domain_link" title="*">*</a>. (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)" Which is not fine since the message neither tells me in plain English what is wrong, or what I need to do to correct it. In short I can't connect to Webmin. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages webmin depends on: ii bash 3.2-6 The GNU Bourne Again SHell ii libauthen-pam-perl 0.16-2 Perl interface to PAM library ii libio-pty-perl 1:1.07-2 Perl module for pseudo tty IO ii libmd5-perl 2.03-1 backwards-compatible wrapper for D ii libnet-ssleay-perl 1.35-2 Perl module for Secure Sockets Lay ii libpam-runtime 1.0.1-9 Runtime support for the PAM librar ii openssl 0.9.8k-3 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii perl 5.10.0-24 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction webmin recommends no packages. webmin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
