Package: davfs2
Severity: normal

Wanting to mount WebDAV URLs as a normal user, I read README.Debian
(which needs to be re-wrapped, BTW) and ran dpkg-reconfigure,
selecting "Yes".

However, I then could not work out how to mount as a user. If I called

mount.davfs URL PATH

then it complained that URL was not mentioned in /etc/fstab.

If I called

mount -t davfs URL PATH

it complained "Only root can do this".

What am I supposed to do? (I worked around the problem this time with sudo...)

I am using 1.3.3-3, but README.Debian, at least, has not changed in
the latest sid package.
