Package: sysfsutils Version: 2.1.0-5 Severity: important Hi,
I got the error in the bootsequence saying Fri Jul 31 10:30:13 2009: Setting sysfs variables...unknown attribute devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scal ing_governor failed! Fri Jul 31 10:30:13 2009: unknown attribute devices/system/cpu/cpu1/cpufreq/scaling_governor failed! My guess is that /etc/init.d/sysfsutils is missing some dependencies. It should depend on all the scripts loading kernel modules (perhaps module-init-tools, loadcpufreq, maybe others as well). In my case it is enough to do # Should-Start: loadcpufreq Kind regards and thanks for maintaining sysfsutils Andreas. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (501, 'testing'), (50, 'unstable'), (5, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages sysfsutils depends on: ii libc6 2.9-12 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libsysfs2 2.1.0-5 interface library to sysfs sysfsutils recommends no packages. sysfsutils suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
