As you could know, the manpages cannot be altered by license (which is the reason to have them in non-free) so better submitting the issue upstream and wait ages for a possible update. Unfortunately this is not an easy process, because POSIX is an IEEE standard. GNU/Linux distribution can include POSIX manpages by courtesy of the IEEE association as explained in http://lwn.net/Articles/69226/ AFAIK the most open forum for possible revisions is located here: http://www.opengroup.org/austin/lists.html where you or anyone else can submit possible fixes for contents. -- Francesco P.
