When upgrading courier-authdaemon, aptitude returns an error (255) if
courier-authdaemon is not running. Here is the output:

It would be preferable if the upgrade script could detect that
courier-authdaemon is not running and continue with the upgrade.

The workaround I've used is to start courier-authdaemon, then run the upgrade,
then stop it.
