Package: insserv
Version: 1.12.0-10
Severity: minor
Hi Petter.
It seems that README.Debian suggests:
# Enable parallel booting
echo CONCURRENCY=shell >> /etc/default/rcS
But a least /etc/init.d/rc says:
ase "$CONCURRENCY" in
startpar|shell) # shell is obsolete
So perhaps one should use startpar ?
Apart from that...
Is concurrent init already considered to be "safe/stable"?
And I was unfortunately not able to find documentation on
startpar/shell/makefile options... could you perhaps point me to some
docs,.. where I can read about the differences and so on?
Thanks in advance,
Chris.
