I don't know how to solve it. I installed smixer-python.so from within alsa-lib. Running alsa-mixer -a basic gives: ALSA lib python.c:991:(alsa_mixer_simple_finit) Unable to find python module '/usr/lib/alsa-lib/smixer/python/main.py' alsamixer: function snd_mixer_selem_register failed: No such device Do you know how to build /usr/lib/alsa-lib/smixer/python/main.py ?
