The latest problem with DPMS not being activated as reported in my last message only occurs inside GNOME (DPMS activates correctly from the gdm login screen) and occurs when gnome-power-manager 2.24.4 is used with:
gnome-screensaver: 2.26.1-2 gnome-session: 2.26.2-1 Upgrading to gnome-power-manager 2.26.3 (from experimental) including the packages on which it depends fixes the problem.
