Hello Philip, many thanks for reporting this bug. Actually it is a regression that appeared with calcurse version 2.6.
I fixed it in the latest snapshot that is available at: http://culot.org/calcurse/snapshot.html This snapshot is not intended as being packaged as the documentation is not up to date and as new features need more testing.
