Hmm, it sounds like a dependency problem, but where.
What version of pidgin and libpurple0 do you have installed?
I'm not even sure who's complaining, pidgin or the plugin.
I cannot check at the moment but I think i tested it with pidgin and
libpurple0 2.5.6
Just to clarify, I believe that the way this works is that the plugin embeds
the version number from the headers of the libpurple it was built with, and
the pidgin plugin loader checks that version number and won't load plugin
built with headers from a later version than it's own (as it may use
unsupported future API)
So you probably want to set the libpurple dependency to the version it's build
with, if you can?
I believe that pidgin-musictracker is perfectly functional when built against
libpurple 2.4.x headers, if that is necessary...
